RJ Hernández is a Cuban-American interior designer and novelist based in Greenwich Village, New York. His work is shaped by a narrative sensibility and a belief that good design, like good writing, balances intellect and heart.

Educated at Yale, he began his career at Vogue and W, later working as a stylist for international fashion brands.

He is the author of An Innocent Fashion (HarperCollins), and his writing has appeared in The Paris Review and ELLE.

He is currently focused on residential and select commercial design.
